SEO is a tough game to play. First, you want your business to show up when people search for certain words. That can be hard enough.
But even if you accomplish that, a blanketed, nationwide approach can be too generic. If your market is one or two specific cities, you want people to find your website when they search for your product and your city (“oil change Portland,” for example). It’s a waste of money if people in Tallahassee are finding your website, and your potential clients in St. Louis are not.
More and more often, people want to see local results when they Google something. Nearly 60% of consumers search online to find a local business. And half of the time, when someone Googles something on their phone, they’re looking for a local result. Your website has to be there!
Don’t stress. We’re experts at local search engine optimization (SEO) -- or in plain speak, getting your business to show up in Google when someone in your area searches for something related to you. It can go a long way toward getting you more clients and sales.
This is also known as Google My Business. Google often puts a group of local results in the middle of a page of traditional search results. Google does this either by guessing your location based on your IP address or using the city you typed in (“dentist Chicago”). If you’re having trouble ranking organically, showing up in Google Places is a great way to sneak onto the first page of Google results.

So could your profile on Yelp or a similar site. Reputation management. We monitor mentions of your brand online to ensure clients are speaking well of you. And while we don’t write fake reviews for our clients, we do make it as easy as possible for your clients to review you. We’ll even write step-by-step instructions for them.

How quickly will I see results?
Google is slow to reflect website changes, so you won’t see instant results. Typically we lay the groundwork in months 1 and 2, and you will most likely start seeing results in months 3 and 4. You will certainly see results by months 5 and 6, if not sooner.
Can you guarantee I’ll be #1 in Google?
The short version is no. It’s impossible to predict what Google will do. The algorithm could change at any time, so you could be on the first page one day and not the next. (Don’t trust anyone who promises to get you to #1 in Google.) But we do think you’ll be very happy with our results. We have nearly a decade of experience and are really good at what we do.
Do I have to sign a long-term contract?
Nope! All we ask for is a six-month commitment, because it sometimes takes that long to make significant progress with your website’s rankings in Google. After six months, your contract becomes month-to-month, and you can cancel anytime. Our consulting services alone are month-to-month.
Do you charge a fee to get started?
No. All you have to do is pay the first month’s retainer, and then we’ll get to work!
When do you send reports?
We send each client a detailed report every month using Google Analytics data and information from other proprietary analytics software. The report includes number of site visitors, clicks, leads, and so forth, as well as how your website ranked for key search terms. Finally, we include commentary about what’s working and what’s not, so we both have a plan for the following month.
